ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR | DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS | HKUST
I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I grew up in Hong Kong and received my B.Sc. and M.Phil. in Mathematics from HKUST. I then went to Stanford to pursue my doctoral studies and received my Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2012. After working at Brown University for three years, I returned to my hometown and alma mater to become an Assistant Professor in 2015. I was promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. My research interests include Differential Geometry and Geometric Analysis, with particular focus on Geometric Flows and Complex Geometry.
I am currently the Undergraduate Program Coordinator of the Department of Mathematics.
In my leisure time, I play the piano, which is my long-term hobby.
